About Westminster
Westminster, or Bubba if you’re in the know, is a calm, good-natured terrier who keeps things simple and easy. His laid-back personality means he’ll happily share his happy place—an ottoman by the window—where he monitors the neighborhood with quiet interest. He knows the basics: "sit," "stay," and even "step back," so he’s got some solid manners under his (collar). Training is definitely in progress, but what counts is his earnest effort and love of treats. On walks, he’s polite and sticks by your side, unless something especially interesting (like a bird) catches his eye—in which case he does nothing more than take a closer look. He’s a master at relaxing, loves lounging in patches of sun or sprawled on the floor in full "sploosh" mode, and is an expert in soaking up affection. Bubba has preferences (kibble with a splash of water, please), is food motivated, and has made impressive progress with crate training. He’s comfortable being home alone during the workday and always happy to see you return. Bubba gets along with dogs and calmly coexists with cats or birds—he’s just there for the view. If you love mellow walks, window-watching, and a dog who keeps things easy, Bubba’s the one. Start your journey together! Apply now.
