About Lourdes

I am a beautiful calico and I am very shy. Give me a chance in a loving environment and I can come around to being your new best friend. I was found to be friendly during a large trapping event. I have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and my Felv test was negative. I had a faint positive for FIV and I think in time I will shake this and end up negative. My adoption fee is $200.

About Calico Cats

Calico is not a breed but a tri-color coat pattern featuring patches of white, black, and orange (or their dilute versions). Calico cats are almost always female due to the genetics of coat color being linked to the X chromosome. Summers are extreme with temperatures exceeding 105°F and pavement reaching 170°F. Walk dogs only before 7 AM or after 8 PM, and always test the ground with your hand first. Keep fresh water available at all times, as heatstroke is a life-threatening risk for pets in the Valley.
