Hi, my name is Xavos and I am everything you could want in a kitten. I'm brave, playful, curious, and just a little bit chaotic in the most entertaining way. My foster mom says I'm a "Machiavellian genius," because I always seem to figure out how to get exactly what I want... and what I usually want is attention, toys, or both. I have a sleek black coat with a bright white belly and matching mittens, like I got dressed up for mischief. My fur is short, soft, and easy to care for. I'm low maintenance, just like my attitude toward everything except playtime. Speaking of playtime... I have endless energy. I will chase, pounce, leap, and wrestle nonstop if you let me. I'm a skilled hunter (for a kitten), though I can be a bit clumsy. I've definitely been voted most likely to tip over the food bowl. I'm also in that funny "tween" phase where I'm still learning manners, like how to share toys with my brother (work in progress!). I tend to make small growling noises when I catch a toy, but feel free to ignore me. I absolutely love people and might turn into a velcro kitty. I'll follow you around, chirp at you, and make little meows when I want to be picked up... only to immediately decide I want down again. Then we repeat. It's part of my charm. I enjoy lap time and full-body rubs, but I get distracted easily; a noise, a toy, or my brother moving is all it takes for me to zoom off again. When I do settle down, I love to sleep on your chest or tucked into your arm. I do love brother Xinder by the way we are fun together. My purr motor is strong and happy, especially when I'm cuddling or getting pets. I can be held upside down for short bursts, but I usually have more important things to do (like playing). I'm very talkative and expressive. I chirp, meow, and keep you updated on all my important kitten thoughts. I'm litter box trained and doing great, though I'm still learning that hands are not toys, so I'd do best with someone who understands playful kittens. I'd likely do well with kids who can help guide me gently as I grow. The best way to my heart? Playtime, playtime, and more playtime, plus lots of full-body rubs. My sibling is Xinder, and we'd make an amazing duo if you're looking for double the fun. But whether I'm with him or on my own, I promise to bring nonstop entertainment, affection, and personality into your home. This cat/kitten is at Lake Oswego Petco.
