About Terry

Terry is an 8- to 9-month-old pit mix who’s still coming out of his shell. He tends to look to confident dogs for cues, so he really needs a home with a friendly, outgoing canine buddy. When he has a dog friend beside him, Terry is much happier heading out for walks and starts to show a bit more of his personality. New things can overwhelm him, so a quieter home with older kids is a better fit. Young children are probably too much for him right now, but savvy older kids who give him space will help him settle in. Terry isn’t house trained yet and will need a little patience in that department. With time and support from both humans and his canine mentor, Terry’s gentle side emerges. He’s just waiting for the right home to let his confidence grow. Click apply to start the adoption process.
