About Azara
Azara spent five months being passed over in a crowded shelter, but she didn’t let it dampen her spirit. Now settled into her foster home in San Diego, CA, she’s bloomed into a confident, loving companion who brings a burst of energy wherever she goes. At 2 years old and around 50 pounds, Azara is all about playful zoomies and chew toys, eager to embrace anything that feels like fun. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps soundly through the night—her foster calls her an “A+” student who learns fast and consistently aims to please. Social at heart, Azara gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. While she has plenty of lively "young dog" energy and would love yard space to romp, she’s quick to settle after play. Her leash skills are still in progress: she may wiggle with excitement when she heads out for a walk, but she gets better every day with patience and treats. Anyone looking for a sweet, smart, and excitable dog who just wants to be part of the family should meet Azara. She’s got plenty of sparkle to offer. Ready to fall in love?
