About Skippy TINY SURVIVOR GOES
Skippy is an 8-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua with a short apricot coat, and he lives for both fun and affection. Life knocked him sideways when his previous owners surrendered him, leaving him shaken and wary at the shelter. But after some time in foster care, Skippy has emerged as a confident, playful little guy. He’s happy to go for walks and can’t resist a good chin scratch or sitting in your lap once he trusts you. Skippy adapts well to both doing his business outside and using wee-wee pads, which makes him a flexible fit for apartment living or a senior household. He gets on well with both dogs and cats in his foster home—he doesn’t stir up drama, bark much, or gnaw things he shouldn’t. Skippy enjoys being carried, doesn’t mind relaxing in his crate or playpen, and handles alone time without issue. He’ll need you to continue his heartworm treatment soon and will need vet visits for his shots. Neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, and vaccinated, Skippy is ready for a home that appreciates a gentle, fun, and sweet-natured companion. This could be the start of something paw-some.
