Meet Sunny~ your daily dose of Vitamin D in dog form āļø At 10 years young, Sunny is living proof that age is just a number and joy is a lifestyle. This 38-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix (with a generous sprinkle of āsuper mutt magicā) arrived from a Chicago shelter with a past thatās a mystery, but sheās clearly decided the future is all sunshine, all the time. Sunny is exactly what her name promises: warm, bright, and impossible not to smile around. Sheās the kind of dog who walks into a room and immediately improves the vibes. Need a serotonin boost? Sunnyās already on it. Her greatest hits include: Being aggressively lovable (she welcomes multiple people petting her at once like a true celebrity) Perfect house manners (100% housebroken, thank you very much) Getting along with literally everyone: men, women, kids (including tiny humans), and other dogs Politely requesting walks with a single, authoritative āahemā bark Lounging on her dog bed like the chill queen she is Despite being a bit hard of hearing, Sunny doesnāt miss a beat when it comes to lifeās important things: snacks, strolls, and soaking up affection. Sheās low on drama, high on good vibes, and refreshingly free of behavioral quirks. Honestly, if she has a flaw, we havenāt found it. Sunny has a dental and lipoma removal scheduled for 5/6, and sheāll be feeling even better soon, but sheās already out here thriving. Her aesthetic? Golden sunshine with a side of adorable spots. Her fashion sense? Floral scarves, obviously. Her dream hobby? Gardening, so she can bask outdoors like the solar-powered sweetheart she is. Her walkout song? Good Day Sunshineābecause of course it is. Sunny would love a home where she can enjoy her favorite things: leisurely walks, cozy naps, and being adored (preferably by multiple people at once, if you can arrange it). If your life could use a little more light, a little more ease, and a lot more love⦠Sunny is ready to shine her way right into it.
