About Sweet Potato
Sweet Potato isn’t your average tabby—he stands out the moment you meet him. He’s a 5-and-a-half-year-old with short, soft brown-and-white fur and a calm, kind face that earned him the nickname “smiley face.” He survived a rough spell outdoors and came through it with a gentle heart and just a few visible reminders: a slightly cloudy eye from a corneal scar (doesn’t slow him down at all) and a full set of freshly cleaned teeth thanks to a much-needed dental "spa day." He’s now healthy, happy, and thriving—FIV positive, but bold proof that with good care, FIV cats can live just as long and happily as any other cat. He’s a total people cat: gentle, melt-in-your-arms affectionate, and deeply sweet. Sweet Potato also gets along fine with other cats, including FIV-negative ones. He really just wants a safe, loving home where he can spend his days soaking up attention and purring away. Sweet Potato is in Cleveland, OH and ready to meet his person. This Scorpio will win you over fast—he’s proof that sometimes, the best cats are the ones that find you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
