Johnnie showed up with his brother Stevie, discovered in a box outside a Dollar General. Now at four months old and about 25 lbs, Johnnie's a German Shepherd/Labrador mix who's microchipped, neutered, and learning crate life. House training is still a work in progress, but he is motivated and picking it up as he goes. Johnnie loves kids—belly rubs from little hands are a highlight for him. He’s playful without being relentless, and just as happy curled up for a snuggle session. He does well with other dogs, but it’s unknown how he’d react to cats since his foster doesn’t have any.
