Meet Ranger! This 10-pound, 2-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix (best guess) hasn't had an easy start. He was found near a taco shop, scavenging for scraps, with one eye severely damaged. After ending up in the shelter, we knew we had to step in and give him the second chance he truly deserves. Ranger is currently being fostered with other dogs and has a bit of that 'little man' personality-but once he trusts you, he melts into the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy. He's learning what it means to feel safe: living in a home, having consistent meals, and not having to fight just to survive. He's looking for someone patient and kind-someone willing to show him love and help him continue adjusting to the good life.
