Abbott is a 1½-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who came to the shelter as a stray alongside his brother, Costello. Like his brother, Abbott has a sweet, affectionate nature — he just takes a slightly more laid-back approach when it comes to handing out kisses. Abbott enjoys attention, loves being petted, and has a gentle charm that draws people in. While he may be a bit more reserved at first, once he’s comfortable, his loving personality really shines through. We’re still learning about Abbott and haven’t had the chance to dog test him yet, but with the right meet-and-greet, he may do well with a dog friend.
