About Acadia HW+
Acadia is a young Australian Shepherd/Staffordshire mix with just the right balance of playful energy and gentle affection. She loves exploring the backyard, sniffing out new things, and then settling in for some solid snuggle time on the couch. Naturally curious and outgoing, she keeps up with whatever her people are up to and enjoys being in the middle of things. While she’s a bit bolder than her best friend Denali, Acadia stays gentle and sweet through it all. Friendly with people and calm around other dogs, she greets everyone with a wag and nuzzle. You’ll find Acadia quick to learn—she’s already got "sit" down, picks up new tricks for treats, and is coming along well with her leash skills. Crate trained and rapidly improving on her routine and house training, she slots in smoothly to daily life. She can be cautious at first in unfamiliar situations but settles once she feels reassured. Most of the time, Acadia is quiet, though she might bark a little when something catches her attention. What matters most to her: having Denali by her side. They bring out the best in each other, and while Acadia would love to be adopted with Denali, she definitely requires a dog companion if not. Acadia will do best in a calm, patient home with gentle routines, lots of affection, and a safe yard. Good with other dogs and children, she’s ready for a family ready to give her and her friend a place to belong. Born March 14, Acadia is a dreamy Pisces, which certainly fits her loving nature.
