Pierogi is a small male Maltese/Terrier mix, about 4.5 months old, currently in Los Angeles, CA. He is neutered and vaccinated. Pierogi is still a baby, with a gentle and shy temperament, making him a great candidate for a home with another dog and a patient adopter.

About Pierogi

Pierogi came into rescue with his siblings and father after being found in a rough spot—they were hiding out in a hole in an alley in San Bernardino, covered in fleas and ticks, and very anemic. After some solid care, they've all bounced back and Pierogi is now looking for a home. He’s a small, sweet boy with a gentle, shy nature, so he’ll do best in a home that already has a dog for him to buddy up with. He loves attention from people and will gladly settle into your lap for some petting or just to hang out quietly. Despite his nervousness, he’s curious and playful, especially once he’s around another dog. Wrestling with canine friends and fetching toys are right up his alley. Pierogi is happiest lounging in his bed with a toy, but he’s still working on building confidence and adjusting to the good life. If you’re looking for a gentle pup who just wants to feel safe and loved, Pierogi could fit right in. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
