This unbelievably gorgeous, blue merle blue eyed baby is named Tex!! When this guy came into a local shelter he caught everyone’s eye immediately! Once everybody spent time with him, they realized that not only is he absolutely gorgeous on the outside, but he is an unbelievable sweetheart! Thankfully, a wonderful foster home agreed to take this guy in until we find his forever home! Text has been estimated by the vets to be somewhere between 12 to 24 months old. He’s currently weigh 55 pounds but depending on his age and growth trajectory, he could be as big as 65 pounds or so at full maturity. He has had all medical work completed and his doing wonderful! He’s current on his vaccines, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative! He has also been microchipped and neutered. He has also tested negative for heartworm! He has had his medical work done and is officially ready for adoption! This guy has adjusted to Foster care absolutely beautifully. He is a complete social butterfly and loves the opportunity to meet new friends, both human and canine! He is enjoying playing with other dogs of all sizes, and he makes new friends with everyone he meets. He would absolutely love a home with a built-in playmate and snuggle companion, but it is not a requirement. He would be just as happy with doting parents and a fun, happy social life! He’s doing great going potty outside reliably, and he’s learned basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down! He’s exceptionally smart and quick to pick up anything he would like to teach him. He is super loving and confident, and enjoying going for car rides, hikes in the woods, he likes to swim, and is ready to accompany you on whatever journeys you would like to take him! He is absolutely beautiful, but he’s also a solidly excellent dog. He will make a wonderful devoted companion to people who want a dog who will not only enjoy whatever adventure life has in store, but also will enjoy snuggling up on the couch for movies and soaking up all of the love this sweetheart has to give.
