Big Baby truly lives up to his name — this big fluffy boy is as gentle and as sweet as they come. With his adorable coat, calm personality, and easygoing nature, he’s the kind of dog who quietly wins people over once they get to know him. Despite his large size, Big Baby is incredibly gentle and polite. He walks slowly and nicely on leash, is easily redirected, and has done well around kids as well as other dogs. He especially enjoys relaxed play dates with calm canine companions and seems most comfortable with dogs who have a gentle or lower-energy play style. Big Baby is more on the shy side and not overly affectionate right away, but he enjoys being near his people and relaxing outdoors. He seems like a dog who may have spent much of his life outside, so the comforts of home are still somewhat new to him. He is currently working on house and crate training and is doing very well. While the crate isn’t his favorite place, he tolerates it nicely and continues to make progress. This handsome boy also does well during baths, is very food motivated, and has adjusted nicely to spending time inside the home. Beneath his intimidating size is a soft-hearted, lower-energy dog who simply wants peace, patience, and a safe place to belong.
