Meet Ms. Pinenose, a ten-year-old black domestic longhair with striking green eyes and a personality worth waiting for. She came to her foster when her owner passed away suddenly, and her family wanted to make sure she had a safe, caring place to land rather than a shelter. Ms. Pinenose takes a little time to warm up, but once she does she's all in. She loves trailing her people to the kitchen on the off chance something delicious is happening, claiming the sunniest window in the house, and settling in for a good cuddle session. When she's deep in a nap she'll roll over, flash her belly, and make little air biscuits in her sleep. She's a talker, especially around mealtime, and she has a playful side that comes out once she feels at home. She does best as the only pet in a calm, quiet household with adults or older kids who respect her boundaries. She's currently on a low dose of gabapentin for anxiety, which may be reduced or discontinued once she's settled in her new home. If you have patience and a sunny windowsill, this sweet girl is ready to make herself at home.
