Royce is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home. Hello, I'm Royce, a happy and playful pup, though I do tend to be a bit timid when first greeting people. But I can be easily bribed with treats! I used to share my foster home with my sister and the resident pups, but she was adopted so now it's just me and the other pups. There are older kids in the house, so I'm used to the hustle and bustle of an active family, and I love it. I love playing with all kinds of toys, but toys that I can really get my chew on, those are just the best. Give me a chew bone, and I'm a happy guy! I'm potty trained, and though I do enjoy walks, I can get a little feisty when I come across other dogs. My foster mom has worked on improving my leash manners and I'm doing better now, especially if I walk on my own. I receive a lot of complements on my shiny golden/red coat, but it hasn't gone to my head. I would really like to find a home of my own, where I can grow and have some adventures, like go hiking! Or maybe play in the snow - that sounds like so much fun for a pup like me! I'm definitely the kind of pup that would love a nice fenced yard to run around in, btw. So if you're looking for a handsome and fun young guy, someone small enough to cuddle, don't wait, ask to meet me - I just know we will be best friends in no time! Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada. Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $450 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.
