Dorcus was brought to the shelter by a kind person who heard a dog crying in distress in their neighborhood. That dog is Dorcus and he lost his home when his owner had housing issues. Volunteers have been getting to know him and say he is a little shy but calm, quiet and gentle. He's easy to walk on leash, is a big fan of treats, especially hot dogs and takes them gently. He seems potty trained. Dorcus is 7.5 years old, 53 lbs and has shiny black fur with a little gray on his face. He looks to have been well cared for and it's so sad that he lost the comforting familiarity of a home. Dorcus is a sweet, older guy who just wants a home. Can you help him?
