About Kiko

Meet Kiko Kiko is a beautiful senior male kitty with a lot of good, snuggly years left. He's 10 years old and has long, luxurious hair and loves people so much. He's become our office cat and it's hard to get any work done because he just wants to "help" which means getting endless love and attention. Kiko is a special needs cat so he needs a very special home. He suffers from a disease called Ketatitis Eosinophilc that causes corneal ulcers and pain. Our vet thought he might lose an eye but he has responded extremely well to his medication and his eye is healing beautifully. He will need lifetime medication or he will go blind. He could still go blind so he needs someone who is not willing to give up on this special boy. When he first came to us, he was very withdrawn, but weโ€™ve learned that was because of the pain he was in. Now that the pain has been controlled, you could not find a sweeter, more snuggly kitty in the world. He runs up for scratches, rubs against you, and reaches out to gently pat you if he thinks heโ€™s not getting enough love. He will be a perfect lap cat in a quiet household. Heโ€™s a little cranky with other cats, so Kiko is going to need to be an only pet. But he will spoil his new family as much as they will want to spoil him. He is a keeper, a fighter, and an incredible kitty. And did we mention heโ€™s gorgeous? If looking for an awesome kitty who will be your companion for life, Kiko might just be for you.
