Fern is part of a bonded pair with Ivy. Both cats are in the care of a dedicated foster network within 10 miles of Chicago’s north side, and adoptions are limited to the city or very nearby suburbs. Chicago Cat Rescue prioritizes lifelong support for Fern and all their cats, which is the reason for their strict geographic boundaries. Adopters outside the area are encouraged to search for cats available closer to home. Fern’s physical and emotional well-being are central to her care.
