About Gretel
Gretel is an 8-month-old medium-sized girl at about 30 pounds and still has a bit of growing to do. She came from a Tennessee shelter and has been patiently waiting in Lansing, MI, hoping for a second chance since early May. Gretel is gentle and sweet, though all the change and commotion at the shelter have sometimes left her a little overwhelmed. She will need an adopter who can move at her pace and give her room to build confidence slowly. Once she relaxes, her affectionate side shines right through. She’s done well meeting other dogs at the shelter and just needs some extra time to adjust to new friends and environments. Continuing with gentle socialization and some training could help her blossom. Gretel is spayed, microchipped, and caught up on vaccinations. Potential adopters should make sure all family members meet her to ensure a good match. She’s got a lot of love left to give and is ready for a family willing to help her grow. Start your journey together! Apply now.
