About Merlin
Merlin is a seriously fun-loving dog with a passion for his giant Boomer Ball. If you’ve got a secure, fenced yard, you’re already halfway to winning Merlin’s heart. He thrives when he has room to run, chase, and play—and truly entertains himself for hours. Give him a quick break indoors, and he’ll head right back out for round two with his ball. Walks are nice, but not enough for this high-energy guy; free backyard time is a must. Currently, Merlin lives with two older dogs and tends to stick to his own business, but he could do well with another medium or large companion up for some play. For the safety of smaller animals, a cat-free, small-dog-free home is best—he gets a little too interested in tiny critters. Merlin listens well, is eager to learn, and will impress you with recall and basic commands, especially if there are treats involved. His foster family describes him as easygoing and unbothered by storms, new people, or changes in routine. Merlin does well with dog-savvy kids, preferably older ones who can handle his enthusiastic tail wags and zoomies. The non-negotiable? Keep his favorite ball around—it's his key to happiness. His foster family understands what makes him tick and will gladly share what works, making his transition easier. Merlin is neutered, fully vetted, and ready to find a family who values playtime, backyard naps, and a chill buddy ready to stick by their side. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
