About Bear

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Bear is a gentle, observant puppy who finds happiness in following his favorite humans from room to room before settling down for a snuggle session. With a social yet respectful nature, he gets along beautifully with older dogs, children, and cats. He is friendly around food and will let you handle his bowl without any guarding issues. While calm and quiet, Bear shines most when in the company of others—he would love a forever home with another dog for companionship and confidence. This sweet boy has already mastered puppy pads, is sleeping soundly through the night, and is well on his way to being fully potty trained. Bear’s journey began after being found abandoned in downtown Houston, and he now embraces every moment of his second chance with gratitude and affection. Note that Bear has not yet been altered, and his adoption requires a spay/neuter contract and deposit, to be fulfilled within six months of adoption.
