In April, it will be a full year since she was saved from a shelter—and despite everything she’s been through, she still doesn’t have a place to call home. Right now, Leona is back in boarding, confused and heartbroken after losing yet another home through no fault of her own. She did well in her last placement, but the resident dogs weren’t a match for her playful, energetic personality. She simply needs the right environment—and someone willing to give her more than just a few days to adjust. Leona deserves that chance. About Leona: 🐾 6–7 years old, Black Mouth Cur mix 🐾 Spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vetting 🐾 House trained / relatively clean in the home 🐾 Sweet, affectionate, with a little sass and personality Leona is a loving girl who bonds deeply with her people. She enjoys playtime and still has a fun, youthful energy—but she also just wants a place where she can finally relax and feel secure.
