You do not need to fill out an application just to visit, but adopting Maximus will require completing an application before moving forward. Excitingly, all current adoption fees are waived so this is a great opportunity to bring home a new companion. Every animal, including Maximus, is vaccinated against rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter. Dogs are tested for heartworm disease and, if you are a Sumter County resident, you'll receive a free County pet tag with adoption.
