This charming small dog is nearly a year old and, as a purebred, sports beautiful apricot, beige, white, and cream coloring with a soft medium-length coat. Winston has been well-loved in his foster setting, where he gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs, making him a fantastic fit for a lively family or anyone looking for a friendly companion. Winston is crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door, but he is not yet fully house trained—so he will need a patient adopter ready to help him complete his training journey. His leash skills are a work in progress, but his eagerness to please makes him a joy to teach. Winston arrived at the rescue after being released by a breeder due to his age, but he is a healthy, well-adjusted pup with no underlying issues. All his vet care is completely up to date: he is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated (including parvo/distemper and rabies), heartworm negative, and has even had a recent dental cleaning.
