Meet Darla Get ready for this adorable little low rider with soulful eyes and her signature "satellite ears" - she'll be stealing hearts in no time. Darla is fully potty trained and has had zero accidents in her foster home. She's great about letting you know when she needs to go out, which makes life so much easier. Her crate training is coming along nicely too. She does great overnight and is still building confidence during the day, although if it were up to her, she'd happily trade the crate for snuggling in bed with her people. She walks beautifully on a leash and truly enjoys getting out and about. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll or tagging along on errands, Darla handles it like a pro. She's already proven herself to be an excellent travel buddy and settles well in the car. Darla's personality is something special. She's affectionate, loyal, playful (but past that wild puppy phase), and incredibly obedient. She listens well and loves being close to her people. Expect lots of snuggles, gentle kisses, and her famous move of dramatically flopping over for belly rubs. She lives for them. She does well with cats and loves people of all ages. With other dogs, Darla is more of a "respect my space" kind of girl. She can coexist peacefully with calm dogs who aren't overly playful or in her face, but she's not looking for a high-energy dog bestie. Slow, respectful introductions are key, and she may honestly be happiest as your one-and-only or with a laid-back companion. Darla thrives on companionship and prefers not to be left alone for long periods. She's happiest when she's with her people, soaking up attention and being part of your day-to-day life.
