About Benjamin
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Benjamin, a sweet and fluffy orange and white boy searching for a calm, loving home. After being adopted as a kitten, Benjamin recently found himself back at the rescue due to his owner's loss of housing—never through any fault of his own. He’s still adjusting to the shelter and would flourish in a quieter space where he can feel safe. Benjamin is a gentle, shy soul who blossoms when treated with patience and affection. Once he trusts you, he loves gentle pets and will softly nudge your hand for more attention. His favorite place to relax is in cozy cubbies, where he can watch the world from a safe distance and nap peacefully. Because of his sensitive nature, Benjamin is best suited for a quiet home without young children. Although he previously had his teeth removed for a medical issue, it doesn’t slow him down at all—he happily enjoys both wet and dry food. With kindness and a peaceful environment, Benjamin is sure to become a wonderful, loving companion. Keep in mind that he is listed as a Maine Coon mix based on appearance only, and most cats in rescue are a mix of several breeds. Breed should not be the sole factor in your decision, especially if allergies are a concern. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
