Alfred Fiv+
AvailableAlfred is a medium-sized, orange/red male domestic short hair cat with a lovely friendly personality. He is an adult, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house trained. While Alfred is FIV positive, this does not affect his quality of life or his ability to bring joy to a loving home. He is currently fostered through The Feline Foundation of Greater Washington Inc. and gets along well with other cats and children.
About Alfred Fiv+
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Alfred — your future orange shadow, professional cuddle consultant, and full-time participant in whatever you’re doing. Brushing your teeth? Alfred’s there. Taking a nap? Alfred’s already on it. Lounging on the couch or watching birds and construction from the window? Obviously a group activity. Alfred believes life is better when done together, whether that's supervising your daily routine or birdwatching alongside the other cats in his foster home. Alfred is also an elite-level cuddler. His preferred move is the classic plop-down-and-chill, where he settles next to you and relaxes into full cuddle mode. And if he falls asleep? Expect his adorably happy loud snores to make an appearance. Alfred is friendly, affectionate, curious, and happiest when he’s part of the moment, especially if that moment involves snacks, snuggles, or a good window view. Alfred's adorable curled ears add to his charm and are likely a result of an untreated ear infection when younger, though he has no hearing issues. Alfred is FIV positive, but this is not a barrier to a wonderful life or a reason to miss out on adopting him. FIV is only transmissible between cats via deep bite wounds and does not affect people or other species. Alfred can enjoy a long, happy life just like any other cat, and his sweet nature makes every moment together special. Washington, D.C. and Suburban Virginia/Maryland Area inquiries only, please! Approved adopters can meet Alfred in his foster home. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
