With her gentle temperament and soft coat, she will make a quiet, steady companion.
About Heather
Heather has come a long way in her years at the sanctuary. She arrived timid and wary after her past in a hoarding situation, unsure if she could trust anyone. For three years, Heather mostly kept her distance. Things started to shift following a needed dental procedure where all her teeth were removed, something that was as tough for her as it was necessary. Recovery brought about her transformation—she finally allowed a volunteer to pet her, even enjoying a few belly rubs. Heather still prefers that you let her set the pace; she won’t be the first to approach, but move gently and she’ll let her guard fall. She’s not a lap cat yet, though everyone believes she’ll continue to grow closer to people with time. Watch her settle in by the window, gazing at the birds or sharing quiet time with the other resident cats. She’s now spayed, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped, and reliably litter trained. Heather is five years old and lives peacefully among her feline friends in Breinigsville, PA. Click apply to start the adoption process.
