Brownee
AvailableBrownee is a large, male Pit Bull Terrier with a brindle and white short coat, currently located in Amityville, NY. He is an adult and has been neutered, with his vaccinations up to date. Brownee is not yet house trained and does best as the only pet in an adult-only home. He is looking for a dedicated owner who can continue the work and patience he’s received at the shelter.
About Brownee
Brownee arrived at the shelter as a ten-month-old and has spent nearly his whole life in a kennel, but the progress he’s made is undeniable. He’s a large male Pit Bull Terrier with a striking brindle and white coat and bright, watchful eyes. Brownee is smart and quick to pick up new commands, thriving with structure and consistent guidance. He is not house trained yet but is eager to please and continues to build confidence every day. Brownee will need an experienced adopter—someone patient and committed. He’s seeking an adult-only home as the sole pet, not out of aggression, but because he settles best in a calm, low-distraction environment. Brownee does not get along with other dogs and should have a home where he’s the center of attention. Building trust with him is key; once earned, his affection and loyalty run deep. He has worked hard with staff and is ready for the next step—a real home. Brownee does have a bite history, so a savvy, confident adopter is essential. If you’re up for giving a determined dog a fair shot, Brownee is ready to meet you and show his true spirit. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
