After being transferred from a rural Texas shelter, she captured hearts by saying hello with enthusiastic head-butts, eager for affection and a gentle touch. She thrives on making biscuits and happily jumps into your hand for pets, revealing a sweet and loving personality once she feels comfortable. Currently, Brinell lives among other cats and a senior dog. Although she can feel overwhelmed by multiple pets, she's not aggressive—she simply needs patience and time in a relaxed environment to truly flourish. Brinell would do best in a quiet, cat-friendly home—preferably with another respectful cat or a calm, cat-friendly dog. An adults- or older-child household will help her enjoy a gentle, low-stress transition. She’s seeking someone who will let her blossom at her own pace. Brinell’s vet care is up-to-date: she’s spayed, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on regular flea prevention. She’s currently located in Houston, TX, but transport is included in the adoption fee to the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and the Northeast (with some restrictions—placements are unavailable in NH, RI, or ME, and an increased fee applies in MA to cover additional facilities).
