About Luna
Luna is a three-year-old, medium-sized pit bull terrier mix, weighing around 60 lbs, with a short coat and a heart full of love. Her start wasn’t easy—she was abandoned at a gas station just after having her puppies and almost didn’t make it out of Animal Care & Control. Thanks to a compassionate rescue, she landed in a warm foster home in West Delray, where her spark returned. Luna is dog-friendly, including with small dogs, and adores children—she’s gentle even with toddlers. She’s fully house trained and knows how to walk well on leash, making her a breeze in daily routines. Baths aren’t a battle, and she brings a playful side, chasing toys, lizards, and squirrels with equal enthusiasm. Luna can be a bit hesitant at first, but give her a few moments and she’ll greet you with body wiggles and contagious happiness. She needs a patient companion who’ll help her grow even more confident, and she responds with deep loyalty and affectionate tail wags. Luna is adoptable, open to fostering, or even a Doggy Day Out, and is currently located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, with possible transport within Palm Beach County and South Florida. If you’re searching for a steadfast friend, Luna is ready to join your family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
