Eleanor
AvailableEleanor is a gray and white, short-coated Domestic Short Hair in Jersey City, NJ. She’s a spayed female kitten, about 10 months old, still adjusting to the world around her. Though shy at first, she can become playful and enjoys relaxing near her people once she feels secure.
About Eleanor
Eleanor and her sister Rosa are searching for a home where they can stay together. Both girls came from a tough hoarding background, so the world is still new and sometimes overwhelming for Eleanor. She’s slow to trust and doesn’t always want pets or to be picked up, preferring to have her space while quietly hanging out near you—she’ll happily lounge under your chair when you work or unwind nearby during the evening. Rosa soaks up attention, and Eleanor is content to watch, staying close but hands off until she is comfortable. When she feels secure, Eleanor’s playful side shines, especially with wand toys and gentle play sessions. She’ll even tap the toy to get your attention. Eleanor needs a patient adopter willing to let her come out of her shell at her own speed. If you give her that grace, she and Rosa will grow into your most devoted companions, filling your home with comfort and warmth. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
