About Jorts
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Jorts is a handsome grey tabby with a gentle heart and a quiet charm that sneaks up on you. His past may be a mystery, but one thing is clear: this sweet boy is ready to write a new chapter with a loving family. At first, Jorts can be a little shy, preferring to observe from a cozy perch—his carrier up high is a favorite spot! With a little time and patience, he'll let his affectionate side shine through. Once he feels comfortable and safe, he enjoys attention, gentle pets, and playful moments with his favorite toys, especially little mice he loves to chase and bat around. Jorts strikes a nice balance between playful and calm. He gets along well with other cats and would love a home with a young, playful feline companion, but he can also be your devoted only friend. While he hasn't met dogs yet, with a calm and respectful introduction, he would likely do well. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, Jorts would do best in a home with older, cat-savvy children. Fully litter trained and easygoing, Jorts is perfectly fine being picked up, though he's not demanding—he prefers sitting close by, keeping you company in his quiet way. With his sweet, soft-hearted nature, Jorts might just be your perfect match if you’re looking for a companion who brings both serenity and joy to your home. Fun fact: With a birthday of September 16, Jorts is a Virgo—a sign known for its gentle and caring nature! Jorts is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on his age-appropriate vaccinations. Twin Cities Pet Rescue has been helping animals in need since 2009. Their vision is a humane country where animals are treated with compassion and respect, saving pets mainly from impound and shelters with high intake rates.
