Freya
AvailableFreya is a female Pit Bull Terrier in Chandler, AZ. She’s large, house trained, vaccinated, and spayed. Freya is both dog and cat friendly, enjoys the company of children, and manages Valley Fever well with daily medication.
About Freya
Freya’s life got off to a rough start after being found emaciated in the desert, likely after years of confinement and breeding. Since coming into foster care, she’s built herself back up in body and confidence and learned what it means to be a pet. She now soaks up affection, belly rubs, and time spent with other dogs and people she trusts. Although she’ll approach strangers warily and sometimes bark, give Freya a few minutes and she opens up, showing her sweet and easygoing side. She’s mellow at heart but perks up outside or during lazy play. She’s crate and house trained and gets along with other dogs, plus cat-friendly cats. She’s also comfortable with children and adores attention. Freya does have Valley Fever but manages it just fine with medication. She still needs some work on her leash skills and prefers the temperature just right, enjoying both lounging inside and relaxing outdoors when it suits her. You’ll find she has a bit of a Goldilocks streak—neither too cold nor too hot suits her. Freya wakes up late, turns in early, and likes to nap. She also knows commands in Spanish and English. If you’ve got a home with other pets, kids, and the capacity for regular affection, Freya could fit right in. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
