About Barry Manilow
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Barry is the polite older gentleman you have always wanted in your life. Barry is a seven-year-old sweetie pie who is ready to become your new best friend. Formerly rescued as a stray, he has adjusted quickly to home life and must have experienced love before arriving at the rescue. Barry is incredibly friendly, adoring affection, being picked up for hugs, and staying close whenever he can. He isn’t a huge fan of treats but enjoys his meals and eats both wet and dry food with ease. Due to dental disease, Barry recently had dental work, which sometimes results in an adorable little blep – but don’t worry, it doesn’t slow him down. While Barry enjoys some gentle playtime, he truly prefers pets and snuggles over energetic antics. This calm, well-mannered gentleman makes a wonderful lap cat for those seeking a restful Netflix companion. Barry will work hard making biscuits by the dozen and rewards you with plenty of purrs and happy sounds. He is a fantastic conversationalist and is always eager to ask for more affection. Barry would be the perfect companion for an adult household looking for a devoted, loving friend. If introduced properly, he may also do well with resident animals, though a very slow introduction is recommended. Recent bloodwork revealed signs of hyperthyroidism, but with daily medication (which he takes like a champ!), Barry’s condition is being closely managed. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Born January 4, Barry is a Capricorn, known for steady loyalty and warmth—just like him! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
