About Will

Will is a sweet, playful 7-month-old with a medium build, just about 35 lbs, and a soft white and tan coat. He’s been making big strides since arriving in rescue—he started out wary but is opening up, especially around people he trusts. It’s easy to see his affectionate side shine through when he’s with his person or romping alongside a confident, playful dog. Will does best with someone willing to meet him where he is, taking things slowly and allowing him time to build trust at his own pace. Will has plenty of quirks—he’s known for snatching socks and shoes, chasing toys, and enthusiastically playing fetch. Snuggles in bed are a must, and he won’t say no to a car ride or sticking his head out the window. He’s happiest when playing with other dogs, and even enjoys pup cups on a treat run. He’s still working on becoming braver in new settings and is timid with new people at first, but with consistency and patience his confidence is growing. He does well with other dogs and gets along with cats—though he’s learning the ropes with boundaries. Will knows sit, down, shake, is crate trained, and reliably potty trained, having only had one accident in a month. He’s still mastering leash manners and recall, so a home committed to continued positive training is important. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
