About Ricky

Ricky is a male Husky/German Shepherd Mix who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter due to health issues with his former owner. He is around 7-8 months old. Ricky is great with other dogs, but we do not know how he is with cats or small children. Ricky is working on his house/leash training skills while he waits for a new home. Ricky tends to be very vocal when left alone, but does well when he is with other dogs. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment. WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required) The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.) Step 2— Pick up your new pet! Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
