Bambi is a joyful, resilient 10 month old puppy who has already overcome more than most dogs her age — and you’d never know it by watching her live her life. Her and her sister were rescued from an auto body shop where they were born and raised outside among the gravel and debris. Bambi was born with stiffness in her back legs that affects how they bend, but it doesn’t slow her down. She hops, runs, and keeps up without assistance. Her custom leg braces are currently being made, and we’re hopeful they’ll give her even more strength and flexibility as she grows. She will do best in a home that is excited to support her continued development with love, patience, and positive reinforcement. In return, Bambi offers endless affection, a gentle soul, and a happy, playful spirit.
