About Princess Leia
Princess Leia is a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and American Pit Bull Terrier with the added flair of German Shepherd traits. She's approximately 4 years old and currently in foster care in Houston, TX, awaiting her forever home. This sweet girl has a stunning black coat highlighted with a touch of white on her chest, and those floppy ears paired with amber eyes give her a unique charm. Leia's journey began when she and her brother, Luke, were found roaming the streets. After a challenging few weeks of searching for food and shelter, they were rescued and brought to safety. Leia has fully embraced her new life: she's spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. While she gets along well with dogs of all sizes, she especially enjoys gentle play with small ones. Leia is house trained and sometimes even rings a bell when she needs to go outside. Although she can be a bit timid, once she's comfortable, her playful nature shines through. She loves belly rubs, sunbathing, and will happily dig into a good chew toy before napping lazily. This affectionate pup would thrive in a home with a yard and a human to cuddle with. While she's adaptable and would do well on her own, she appreciates having furry friends around. Whenever you look into her eyes, you can't help but feel your heart melt. Leia is ready to bring joy and love to her new family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
