Esmeralda is part of the "E" litter, born in late August 2025. She endured a tough start outside and has some lingering effects from early illness, including an ulcerated left eye from the herpes virus. Despite her shy exterior, once you sit down at her level, she'll come around for love and petting, and with patience, truly opens up. Esmeralda is an independent spirit who adores playing on her own or with other cats. She does best paired with another young feline friend under two years old—ideally, one of her siblings, Enzo or Eli. She’s fine around respectful dogs and likely best suited to homes with children 8 or older. Esmeralda’s favorites include wand toys, churus, ball tracks, and cat tree hammocks, and she enjoys horizontal scratchers both for play and naps. It may take some time to earn her affection, but once you do, she’s a sweetheart who will reward you with gentle companionship.
