Last Friday, Mrs. Bubbles had her 6-week post-surgery checkup, and the vet said her knee has healed perfectly—she's now ready for walks and hikes again. She’s also slimmed down by 5 pounds and looks great. Mrs. Bubbles narrowly missed being euthanized before Yavapai Humane Trappers rescued her in the nick of time. Since then, she’s been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is thriving in her Prescott area foster home. She’s an 8-year-old, 67 lb American Bully/Boxer mix with a short apricot coat and a gentle soul. Mrs. Bubbles adores people and has a soft spot for respectful children, though she’s happiest as the only pet in a home—her prey drive excludes cats, and while she's done fine with dogs in the past, she truly thrives as a solo companion. She currently lives with a special needs Chihuahua and has hosted canine guests, proving herself reliable with other dogs but simply happiest solo. Around the house, Mrs. Bubbles is fully house trained, never destructive and can be left uncrated without worry. She loves snuggling on the couch, sleeping, squeaky toys, marrow bones, and especially car rides. She’s excellent on leash and knows "sit," "wait," and "place"—even putting herself in place at mealtime until released. Her adopter should ideally be familiar with Bully breeds. Mrs. Bubbles has plenty of life and affection left to share and would love someone ready to give her the forever home she deserves.
