Sammy
AvailableSammy
AvailableSammy is a medium-sized, neutered male Siamese mix currently living in Stagecoach, NV. He is an adult cat with vaccinations up to date and is house trained. Sammy is living with FIV, but this condition does not hold him back from enjoying life or getting along well with others. He does well with other cats and children, and his striking chocolate paws and blue eyes add to his charm.
About Sammy
Sammy's story began in Texas, where his former owner faced the difficult news of an FIV-positive test and planned euthanasia—a fate he never deserved. FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is far from a death sentence, and cats like Sammy often remain healthy and show no symptoms for most of their lives. FIV isn't contagious to humans, and transmission to other cats is rare, requiring a deep bite rather than grooming, sharing food bowls, or litterboxes. Currently, Sammy confidently shares his space with other cats and has never shown aggression. He sticks to the peaceful lane, quietly coexisting with his feline roommates. This gentle soul is initially shy and gravitates toward a calm, quiet home, but he responds to patience and kindness. Sammy's features—a coat reminiscent of a seal point Siamese, striking blue eyes, and unique chocolate-colored paws—make him stand out. He gets along with other cats and is also comfortable around children, making him a wonderful companion in the right environment. Sammy simply needs a chance in a home that can offer the slow pace and understanding he deserves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
