Nala
AvailableNala
AvailableNala is a medium-sized Cane Corso/Rottweiler mix living in Stagecoach, NV. She’s an adult female, spayed, and house trained. Nala would do best as the only pet in the home, but is good with children. Her vaccinations are overdue and she could use some leash work, but she’s ready for someone dedicated and experienced to help her settle in.
About Nala
Nala’s family is looking to find her a new home where she’ll have room to thrive and the attention she deserves. She’s about 4 and will turn 5 this June. Nala has a Cane Corso and Rottweiler background, and she’s medium-sized, strong, and athletic. She’s been spayed, though her last vet experience left her scared and defensive; that led to some misunderstandings, but she’s not aggressive—just anxious in unfamiliar environments. Nala barks at strangers and has acted protective, especially with new faces, and she’s been reported for barking at horses and neighbors but was never found to have actually bitten. Once she knows you, she relaxes and can be affectionate. She’s best suited for adopters experienced with large, strong dogs who can provide training, boundaries, and safe introductions. She’s reliably house trained, loves to play fetch and tug, but can play rough using her whole body. She gets along well with children in the home but does not mix well with other dogs or cats and should be an only pet. Her vaccinations are overdue, and she needs leash training as she pulls. Nala could make an excellent guard dog for the right home ready to give her consistent support and love. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Nala
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Nala’s Cane Corso and Rottweiler mix background means she’ll do best in a home with a securely fenced yard and experienced owners. She thrives in environments where she can have both space and structure.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a Cane Corso/Rottweiler mix, Nala benefits from a large yard or regular access to open space for play and exercise. She isn’t suited for small apartments or homes without outdoor areas.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Nala has grown up around children and does well with them, though her size and energetic play style mean supervision with young kids is important. She can be a great family companion in homes used to large, strong dogs.
