About Shelby
Shelby is a gentle, affectionate German Shepherd and Heeler mix looking for a fresh start. Surrendered after growing up closely with her sister (who’s now adopted), Shelby carries subtle reminders of that history—her right ear is torn and she has a scar stretching along the back of her neck, likely from puppy squabbles. She’s sharp, food-motivated, and takes well to training. On recent outings, including visits to office settings, Shelby handled new situations with surprising adaptability, happily getting in and out of the car and quickly settling in to relax. She knows some basics already—SIT and WAIT—and does best with clear structure and lots of encouragement. Above all, she wants companionship and loves being close to people. Shelby is looking for a home that will appreciate her loyalty and give her the positive direction she thrives on. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
