Abby
AvailableAbby is a tabby American Shorthair with a striking gray and silver short coat, currently in Charlotte, NC. She is an adult, medium-sized, spayed female who is house trained and up to date on her vaccines. She does best as the only pet or with a calm older dog and prefers the quieter things in life, like a comfy window bed.
About Abby
Abby came back to us after a family decided travel was more important than keeping her, so now she's trying to make sense of her world, which has been flipped upside down. At under 2 years old, Abby is searching for a home where she can be the only pet, or possibly live with an older, mellow dog. She's easy to have around—the litter box isn’t a problem, the scratching post gets plenty of use, and the window bed is her favorite place to nap away the hours. Abby isn’t a lap cat, but she does enjoy head pets, head bumps, and affection on her own terms. Once she trusts you, she warms up and becomes very loving. She’ll do well with older, considerate kids, but she isn’t interested in sharing space with other cats. Abby would thrive somewhere calm, steady, and safe, where she doesn’t have to worry about being left again. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
