Meet Akemi, an almost 4 y/o female pittie mix looking for her forever home with a coat that reminds you of brownie batter and deep, dark sweet eyes. Once her owner's beloved emotional support pup, he could no longer keep her. That leaves her with us to find the right family! Akemi is a spirited, medium-energy girl who loves playing with her toys, especially squeaky balls, though she does calm down once she gets some energy out! We think she would enjoy the company of other dogs, but meet-and-greet sessions are recommended; and she's probably a good fit for families with kids. Kitties? No clue! Akemi is working on her leash manners but is eager to learn and please.
