About Alex

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Alex's story began when he and his littermates were rescued from a ditch by dedicated SCAA volunteers. Now six months old, this American Shorthair mix has overcome a lot in his short life. He is fully vaccinated and neutered, ready to start a new chapter in a loving home. Alex sports a unique look: part of his ear is missing, a result of a rough start, and he has a permanent head tilt from idiopathic vestibular disease that emerged this summer. Though his head is a bit crooked, it doesn't slow him down or diminish his sweet personality. He's gentle and endearing, waiting patiently to share joy with the right adopter.
