Vada is a female Rottweiler/Husky mix the best we can tell. She is approximately 9 months old. Vada weighs just shy of 50 lbs. This precious girl came to us as an unclaimed stray through Animal Control. Vada easily had 100-200 ticks on her when she arrived. She will be received preventative Doxycycline. Although a little shy at first, she warms up quickly. Vada loves to play with puppy Bowie. She has not been cat tested. Vada has one blue eye and one brown eye. Thanks to the generosity of some donors, most of her adoption fee has been sponsored, making her adoption fee only $40! All dogs up for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on distemper, parvo, kennel cough and rabies vaccinations. All have been heartworm tested and treated, if necessary. SCHS treats for worms and ear mites along with a flea and tick preventative. We welcome visitors Tuesday evenings 4-7 p.m. Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to noon.
